FAQs

Everything couples, gift buyers, planners and returning customers ask us before they order hand-painted watercolor artwork. Pricing shown here matches the live Shopify product data. Prices are in USD.

Ordering

Choose your product, pick your options, and add it to your cart. On our custom wedding venue illustration invitation cards you make three quick choices: your format (digital file or printed cards), your package (single invitation card or the complete 3-card suite), and your quantity. You can upload your photo and details on the same screen, or send them to us afterwards.
No. The photo field is optional on purpose. Order first, then upload your venue or portrait photo whenever it suits you, or reply to your order confirmation email and send it to info@icatcher.co. Your artwork simply starts once your photo is with us.
Tell us the name of your venue, or paste a link to its website, and we can usually work from a clear image found online. Most venues, estates, barns, churches and hotels have professional photography we can paint from.
Yes. There is a Notes For The Artist field on the product page, and you can also add notes any time by emailing us your order number. Tell us anything that matters: a favourite window, the arch you are getting married under, a colour palette, or details you would rather we left out.
Usually, yes, as long as your artwork has not been painted yet. Email info@icatcher.co with your order number as soon as possible and we will update the brief. Once a sketch has been produced, changes are handled through the revision process instead.
Yes. Add each illustration as its own line item so every artwork gets its own brief, its own sketch and its own approval. If you are commissioning several pieces for a wedding or a family gift set, message us first and we will help you structure the order.
No. You can check out as a guest. Creating an account simply makes it easier to find your order number, track delivery and reorder the same artwork later.

Customization

A great deal. We can adjust the crop and composition, soften or emphasise the landscaping, change the season, warm or cool the colour palette, and add or remove features. Tell us what matters most in your notes and the artist will build the first sketch around it.
Yes, and it is one of our most requested things. Send two or three photos, tell us which one is the main reference, and we will paint a single illustration that takes the building from one image and the surroundings, sky or greenery from another.
Yes. Couples often ask for the ceremony church and the reception venue in one piece, or a family home beside a wedding venue. Send a clear photo of each building and tell us roughly how you would like them arranged.
Yes, and we usually do this automatically. Because every piece is painted rather than filtered, distractions such as parked cars, road signs, temporary marquees and passers-by can simply be left out.
Yes. We can add a couple in the doorway, a dog on the lawn, or a classic car on the driveway. Send a separate clear photo of each person, pet or vehicle you want included and mention it in your notes so the artist can plan the composition.
Yes. If your palette is sage and cream, dusty blue, or black tie and ivory, tell us and the artist will paint to it. Colour changes are one of the most common revision requests and they are covered by your included revisions.
Yes. Watercolor florals, a foliage border, a crest or a hand-lettered monogram can all be added to a venue illustration or an invitation suite. Mention it in your notes so the artist can leave room for it in the composition.

Artwork Process

We confirm your order, gather your photo and details, and place your commission with an artist. You receive your artwork to review, you approve it or ask for changes, then the illustration is painted in watercolor and finished. Digital files are emailed to you and printed orders go to production.
It is genuinely hand-painted. Every venue illustration, couple portrait and family portrait is created by a human artist in watercolor, pencil or line art depending on the product you choose. We do not use AI generators and we do not use clip art.
Your piece is assigned to an artist from our studio team whose style suits the product you ordered. The same artist stays with your commission from first sketch to final artwork, so nothing is lost between revisions.
No, and you do not need us to. Everything is painted from photographs, which is why we can illustrate a destination venue in Tuscany just as easily as a barn twenty minutes away.
Yes, and this is one of our core promises. Nothing is finalised or sent to print until you have seen it and said yes.
We share brush-on-paper footage from the studio, and on request we can often send a short progress shot of your own piece. Just ask when you place your order.

Wedding Venue Illustrations

It is a hand-painted watercolor portrait of the building or grounds where you are getting married, created from your own photo. We turn it into wedding invitations, save-the-dates, a wedding venue portrait for the wall, or a keepsake you frame after the day.
Yes. Barns, vineyards, estates, cathedrals, register offices, city rooftops, beach clubs, ski lodges, family back gardens and destination resorts have all been painted. If it has walls, a roof or a landscape, we can illustrate it.
Yes. Destination weddings in Italy, France, Mexico, Ireland, Greece and beyond are a large part of what we do. All we need is a clear photo, so distance is never an obstacle.
Tell us how it looked at the time and send whatever photos you have, including guests’ phone photos. We can paint the version you remember, restore a wall that has since been rendered, or leave out a modern extension that was not there on the day.
Often, yes. Send any photographs you have, however imperfect, along with a description of what you remember. We have painted closed hotels, chapels and family homes that have since been sold, working from old prints and archive images.
Yes. Summer greenery, autumn colour, winter bare branches or a warm sunset are all straightforward. Tell us what your wedding will look like and we will paint that rather than the photo’s weather.
Yes, and we encourage it. Once your venue is painted, the same artwork can be reused on save-the-dates, thank-you cards, menus, signage or a framed print. Email us with your original order number and we will reuse your existing painting.
It is recognisably your venue, painted in a soft romantic watercolor style rather than a photographic copy. Guests should recognise it instantly, which is the whole point, while it still reads as art rather than a photograph.

Couple Portraits

It is a personalized portrait of the two of you, created from your photos. Depending on the product you choose it can be a soft watercolor couple portrait, a detailed illustration or a clean line art piece.
One good photo of you together is enough. If your best photo of each of you comes from a different day, send both and we will combine them into one natural-looking portrait.
Yes. Send a separate clear photo of your dog, cat or other pet, taken at eye level if possible, and mention where you would like them placed.
Yes, and these are some of our favourite commissions. Send the photo from the moment itself, even if it is slightly blurry, and tell us in your notes what was happening so the artist can protect the feeling of it.

Family Portraits

Yes. Send a group photo, or a separate clear photo of each person, and we will compose everyone into a single family portrait illustration.
On our portrait products the listed price covers the portrait as described in that listing. If you would like to add extra people or pets beyond what the listing shows, email info@icatcher.co before or just after ordering and we will confirm what is possible and whether anything additional applies.
Yes, and we handle these commissions with real care. Send the best photo you have, even an old or low-resolution one, and tell us anything you would like us to know. Many families ask us to place that person slightly apart, or to include a small symbol alongside them.
Yes. A custom house watercolor behind the family, or the family home painted on its own, is a lovely way to mark a move, an anniversary or a milestone birthday.

Invitations and Wording

Three hand-painted, personalized cards: the wedding invitation at 5x7, the venue history card at 4x6 that tells the story of your venue, and the QR-code RSVP card at 3x5. All three carry your venue illustration and your wording.
Yes. Choose Single Invitation Card instead of the complete suite. Printed single invitations start at 195 dollars for 50 cards, and the digital single invitation file is 95 dollars.
Completely. Your names, dates, ceremony and reception details, addresses, dress code, RSVP deadline and RSVP link are all typeset to your wording, in the font you choose from our font chart.
Yes. Wording is finalised during the proof stage, not at checkout, so you do not need your final copy ready to place your order. Send us your wording when you have it and check it carefully on your proof.
Your 3x5 RSVP card carries a QR code that points to your online RSVP form or wedding website. Guests scan it with a phone camera and reply digitally, so you do not need reply envelopes or stamps.
Count households rather than guests. Around 140 guests usually works out at roughly 85 invitations. We recommend ordering 20 to 30 extra for keepsakes, late additions and mistakes while addressing.
Envelopes, envelope printing, guest addressing, liners and wax seals are not part of the standard printed price on the venue illustration invitation cards. If you would like any of them, email info@icatcher.co before you order and we will confirm what we can arrange for your order.
Yes, and it is the most popular thing our couples do. Because your venue is already painted, email us your original order number and we will reuse the same illustration on save-the-dates, thank-you cards or day-of stationery.

Proofs and Revisions

Always. You approve your illustration before it is finalised, and you approve your typeset proof before anything goes to print. Nothing is printed until you have said yes.
Your custom wedding venue illustration invitation order includes three rounds of revisions. On our portrait and wall-art products we work with you on unlimited small adjustments until you are happy. If you are unsure which applies to your order, just ask and we will confirm.
Adjustments to the existing artwork: colours, tones, the crop, background detail, adding or removing a small feature, and any wording or layout change. Starting again from a different photo, or changing the subject entirely, is a new artwork rather than a revision.
We can change the reference photo once at no charge. If a further complete change is needed after that, our support team will confirm the small artwork fee involved before any work starts, so there is never a surprise.
Please review within two days of receiving it. If we do not hear from you we may auto-approve so your order does not miss your date, so do reply even if it is only to say you need a little longer.
Reply directly to the proof email with your changes listed plainly, one per line. Screenshots with circles or arrows are genuinely helpful. The clearer your first reply, the fewer rounds you will need.

Production Time

For venue illustrations you will normally see your artwork within about six to seven days of us receiving your photo. Digital files are usually ready two to four days after you approve. Printed orders then move into production, with standard handling of around two to three weeks before dispatch.
Digital portrait files are typically ready in two to four days. Printed portraits run to standard handling of about two to three weeks, then transit time on top.
Three things, all avoidable: a photo that has not reached us yet, a proof waiting on your approval, and a photo we cannot work from and have to ask you to replace. Approving quickly is the single fastest way to get your order shipped.
Most couples order six to nine months before the wedding, which leaves comfortable room for the illustration, revisions, printing, addressing and mailing. Save-the-dates typically go out nine to twelve months ahead. If you are closer to the date than that, message us before ordering and we will tell you honestly what is achievable.

Rush Orders

Often, yes. We offer a rush handling option of around one week on production, and we sometimes offer a queue jump that moves your artwork to the front of the artists’ queue. Email info@icatcher.co with your deadline before you order and we will confirm what is possible for your date.
No. Rush handling and queue jump speed up the studio, not the courier. If your deadline is tight, tell us the date you need it in hand so we can advise on both stages together.
We cannot guarantee a courier’s performance, so we do not sell guaranteed date delivery. What we can do is prioritise your artwork, tell you honestly whether your date is realistic, and keep you updated at every stage.

Shipping

Shipping is a flat fee by region: free to the United States, free to Canada and the United Kingdom, 9 dollars to Europe and 15 dollars to the rest of the world. You will see the exact amount at checkout before you pay.
The United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe are typically three to seven working days. The rest of the world is typically ten to fifteen working days. Allow longer during seasonal peaks.
Yes, every physical order ships with tracking, whatever the destination. Your tracking number arrives by email, and by text where you have given us a number.
Usually yes, but not always. Different products are sometimes produced in different places, so occasionally items travel in separate parcels. Your tracking emails will make clear which is which.
Almost always because nobody was available to sign for the parcel, or because the address was incomplete. We will simply send it out again, so nothing is lost, but do double-check your address at checkout to avoid the delay.

International Shipping

Yes, to every country, with tracked shipping on every order. Destination weddings and international gift orders are a normal part of our week.
Possibly. Any duty, VAT or import charge is set by your own country and is the recipient’s responsibility. We cannot calculate or pre-pay it, and we cannot mark parcels as gifts to reduce it.
Prices are shown in USD excluding local sales tax, VAT or duty. Any tax we are required to collect is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
Choose the digital file. You receive a print-ready file by email, avoid transit time and customs entirely, and can have it printed locally. Many international couples do exactly this.

Digital Files

A high-resolution, print-ready file of your finished artwork, delivered by email. For the invitation product the digital single invitation card is 95 dollars and the digital complete 3-card suite is 150 dollars, which gives you three print-ready files.
Yes, that is what it is for. Take it to any local or online print shop, or print at home. Because it is supplied at print resolution it holds up at invitation size and larger.
No. Print as many copies as you need for your own wedding or your own home, now or years from now.
Yes. Digital orders go through exactly the same approval process as printed orders. The only difference is what arrives at the end.
Yes. Email info@icatcher.co with your order number and the quantity you want and we will confirm the printed price. Your artwork already exists, so there is no need to start again.

Printing and Paper

Premium card stock with a matte cover finish, which is the finish that suits watercolor best because it holds soft colour without glare. Uncoated and gloss finishes are also available on request.
The invitation is 5x7, the venue history card is 4x6 and the QR-code RSVP card is 3x5. These sizes are fixed so that the suite works together and fits standard envelopes.
Yes. Both portrait and landscape are available. Orientation is best decided with your artist at the artwork stage, when you can see how your venue actually sits in the frame.
Printed quantities are 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,500. If you need a quantity between tiers, or more than 2,500, email us and we will quote it.
We are set up to print our own artwork, because that is how we can stand behind the result. If you have artwork from elsewhere, email us and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Use overlay text to give your customers insight into your brand. Select image and text that relates to your style and story.

Frames

On our portrait and wall-art products, framing is a choice you make at checkout. A framed poster is priced separately from a rolled poster or a stretched canvas, so you can see exactly what the frame adds before you buy.
On our custom portrait products a framed poster runs from 85 dollars at A4 up to 155 dollars at 20x30, against 62 to 80 dollars for the same sizes rolled. On the watercolor wedding venue wall-art product a framed poster runs from 101 dollars at A4 up to 212 dollars at 20x30. The exact price for your choice is always shown before you add to cart.
No, the invitation products are cards rather than wall art. Many couples frame one card afterwards, or order the venue illustration a second time as a framed print for the wall.

Pricing

Digital files are 95 dollars for the single invitation card and 150 dollars for the complete 3-card suite. Printed cards start at 195 dollars for 50 single invitations and 330 dollars for 50 complete suites, and the price per card falls at every quantity tier above that.
Single invitation card, printed: 50 cards is 195 dollars, 100 cards is 225 dollars, 250 cards is 265 dollars, 500 cards is 300 dollars, 1,000 cards is 340 dollars and 2,500 cards is 485 dollars. Complete 3-card suite, printed. Each suite is three cards, so 100 suites is 300 printed cards: 50 suites is 330 dollars, or about 6.60 dollars a suite. 100 suites is 400 dollars, or about 4.00 dollars a suite. 250 suites is 475 dollars, or about 1.90 dollars a suite. 500 suites is 520 dollars, or about 1.04 dollars a suite. 1,000 suites is 570 dollars, or about 0.57 dollars a suite. 2,500 suites is 850 dollars, or about 0.34 dollars a suite.
The hand-painted illustration is a fixed cost. It takes the same artist hours whether you print 50 cards or 500, so once the painting exists each additional card only adds printing. That is why 100 suites at 400 dollars works out at four dollars a suite while 500 suites at 520 dollars works out at just over a dollar.
Four things only: whether you choose a digital file or printed cards, whether you choose the single invitation or the complete 3-card suite, how many you order, and your shipping region. There are no hidden design fees and no per-revision charges within your included revisions.
Yes. Digital is the lower-cost route because there is no paper, production or shipping involved: 95 dollars for the single invitation file and 150 dollars for the three-card suite. Printed pricing starts at 195 dollars because it includes production and delivery of physical cards.
Because it is three separate designs, not one. The suite includes the invitation, the venue history card and the QR-code RSVP card, each individually laid out and typeset, and each printed as its own run.
No, not for revisions within your included allowance. Colour changes, crop changes, wording corrections and small additions or removals are all part of the process. Only a complete restart from a different photo, beyond the first free photo change, involves a small artwork fee, and we always confirm it with you first.
On our portrait products the price shown covers the portrait as described in that listing. If you would like extra people or pets included, email info@icatcher.co and we will confirm what is possible for your piece and whether anything additional applies before you commit.
Yes. On the invitation product you can upgrade from digital to printed, from a single card to the complete suite, and up a quantity tier. On portraits you can upgrade from a rolled poster to a stretched canvas or a framed poster. If you want to upgrade after ordering, email us and we will invoice only the difference where we can.
Our custom couple, family, pet and line art portraits start at 40 dollars for the digital file. Printed options run from 62 dollars for a rolled poster up to 155 dollars for a large framed poster. The watercolor wedding venue wall-art product starts at 50 dollars digitally and runs to 212 dollars for a large framed poster.

Discounts

We run occasional promotions and seasonal offers, and the fastest way to hear about them is to join our email list. Our quantity tiers are also a built-in discount: the more you print, the lower the price per card.
Yes, and we are always happy to talk. Email info@icatcher.co and tell us what you are planning. Planners and venues who send us regular work, and couples returning for a second or third piece, are looked after.
Only one code can be applied per order. If you have two and are not sure which is better value, tell us and we will work it out with you.

Gifts

It is one of the most personal gifts you can give. A watercolor painting of the venue where a couple married, or a portrait of the two of them, is remembered long after the usual gifts are forgotten. Anniversary, engagement and housewarming gifting works the same way.
Yes. Send us the photo yourself and we will keep everything, including our emails, between you and us. Just tell us it is a surprise so we know not to contact the recipient.
Yes. Enter their address as the shipping address at checkout and tell us in your notes that it is a gift. We never include a price in the parcel.
A digital file, printed locally or presented as a mounted print you arrange yourself. Message us with your date first and we will tell you honestly whether a printed order can make it.

Refunds

Because every piece is painted for you personally, custom artwork cannot be returned or refunded once it has been made. That is exactly why we build in artwork approval, proof approval and revisions, so that problems are solved before your artwork is finished rather than afterwards.
Tell us and we will fix it. Reply to your proof with what is not right and the artist will rework it. Our aim is that you approve something you genuinely love, and we would much rather do another round than have you settle.
We will replace it. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with a photo of the problem and we will remake and reship it.
Yes, in the practical sense that matters: you see and approve your artwork before it is finalised, you have revisions to get it right, and if a physical order arrives damaged or incorrect we replace it.

Cancellations

You can cancel within 12 hours of ordering. After that, cancellation is at our discretion, because our artists often begin work straight away.
If your artwork has already been created when you ask to cancel, a 10 dollar fee applies to cover part of the artist’s work. If nothing has been started, there is no fee.
Yes, and please just tell us. We would far rather hold your commission until your plans settle than rush artwork you will not use. Email info@icatcher.co with your order number and we will put it on hold.

Photo Requirements

One or two clear, well-lit photos taken in daylight, showing the whole building or the whole subject. The straighter on and the brighter, the better. A good phone photo is more than enough.
Yes, and many couples do. Professional venue photography is often the clearest reference available. Send us the image, or simply send us the link.
Send it anyway. We work with imperfect photos every day and can compensate for dull light, awkward angles and clutter. If a photo genuinely will not work we will tell you quickly and suggest exactly what to send instead.
It can. The clearer your reference, the more detail the artist can honestly include. If your only photo is soft, tell us what matters most in it and we will focus the detail there.
Only if the interior is the part you want painted. Most venue illustrations are exterior, but ballrooms, chapel interiors and glasshouses all work beautifully if that is the space that means most to you.
Upload them on the product page when you order, or email them to info@icatcher.co with your order number in the subject line. A shared album or drive link is fine too.

Color Accuracy and Quality

Watercolor is an interpretation rather than a photocopy, and that softness is the point. Colours are matched closely to your photo and your palette, and you see them at proof stage before anything is printed.
Very close, but screens are backlit and paper is not, so print always reads slightly softer and warmer. This is normal for all printing. If precise colour matching matters to you, tell us your palette and we will flag anything we think will shift.
Say so and we will change them. Colour adjustment is one of the most common revisions we make and it is included.
Cards are printed on premium card stock with a matte cover finish, chosen because it reproduces watercolor washes cleanly without glare. Digital files are supplied at print resolution so they hold detail at full size.

Packaging and Damaged Orders

Cards ship flat and protected so they arrive uncreased. Prints and canvases are packed to survive transit rather than just to look neat, and everything travels tracked.
Everything arrives carefully presented and with no price inside, so it can be handed over as it is. If you would like a note included, tell us what to write and we will add it.
Email info@icatcher.co within 48 hours with a photo of the damage and your order number and we will remake and reship it. Please keep the packaging until we confirm, as couriers sometimes ask for it.
Yes. Send us a photo of the affected cards and how many are involved and we will reprint them. This is also a good reason to order 20 to 30 extra cards up front.

Tracking

Yes. Every physical order ships tracked, and your tracking number is emailed to you as soon as the parcel is collected.
Tracking often takes 24 to 48 hours to start updating after a label is created. If it still shows nothing, email info@icatcher.co and we will chase the courier and tell you exactly where your parcel is.
If your order has not shipped, yes. Email us your order number and the corrected address straight away. Once a parcel is with the courier we cannot redirect it, though it will come back to us and we will resend it.

Holiday Orders

To be confident of Christmas delivery we recommend ordering no later than December 10th. Our exact cut-off dates are announced each year on the site and by email.
Production stays steady, but couriers are far busier through November and December, so allow extra transit time. Ordering early is the only reliable protection against a courier backlog.
We do not sell a guaranteed holiday delivery option, because it would not be honest to promise something the courier controls. We do offer queue jump so your artwork is produced first, which is the part we can control.

After Purchase Support

Email info@icatcher.co with your order number, or use the live chat on the site. If we are not online we reply by email, usually within 1 to 12 hours.
We email you as soon as your artwork is ready. Please check your spam folder if you have not heard from us within the expected window, and add our address to your contacts.
Yes, and it is very simple. Email us your original order number and we will use your existing painting. No new photos, no new sketch, no starting again.
Yes. Email info@icatcher.co with your order number and we will resend your files.
Just ask us. Email info@icatcher.co or start a live chat. No question about your wedding, your venue or your artwork is too small, and asking before you order costs you nothing.
